Terms of Service
Cexi is a free fitness and training application for general wellness. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis.
cexi.vercel.app is the canonical public website. The exact contracting legal name, principal address, formation jurisdiction, governing law, venue, and formal dispute-resolution process are not yet supplied. This page must not be treated as final legal terms until qualified counsel has reviewed and completed those fields. For questions, contact legal@cexi.app.

Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Cexi application (the “App” or “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years of age to use Cexi. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Health disclaimer
Cexi provides training recommendations, workout programming, and fitness guidance for general wellness only. The App does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Nothing in the Service is medical advice.
Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any new exercise program, particularly if you have a medical condition, are recovering from injury, experience pain during exercise, are pregnant or nursing, or take medications that may affect exercise. Your use of Cexi is at your own risk.
AI Coach supplemental terms
- The AI Coach provides general fitness guidance and is not a substitute for a certified trainer, physician, or other qualified professional.
- It is an automated system, not a licensed clinician, and its responses may be incomplete or inaccurate.
- Do not rely on it for injury, pain management, medical conditions, or other health decisions.
- Coach and workout-design features send limited context over the network for AI inference, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Availability, quality, and capabilities may change without notice.
Accounts & security
You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, not share your account, and notify us of unauthorized use. The production login surface uses Sign in with Apple only. Supabase Auth receives the Apple identity token and manages the resulting session; Cexi does not receive or store your Apple password.
Service providers. Supabase provides authentication, cloud database, storage, sync, and the account-deletion operation. Apple provides Sign in with Apple, HealthKit, and notification services. Cexi's first-party AI service processes prompts and relevant context for network coach and workout-design features; a deployment may route requests to OpenAI as a configured fallback. Sentry receives reliability diagnostics. An Open Wearables provider is used only if you connect one. The production login surface presents Sign in with Apple only. Account deletion. In the app, open Settings → Privacy Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete Account and confirm. The authenticated delete_account() operation removes account-scoped cloud records and owned storage covered by the deployed function; after it succeeds, Cexi clears local databases, model state, queues, caches, photos, keychain items, and auth state. If you cannot sign in, contact privacy@cexi.app so we can verify ownership and process the request.
Pricing
Cexi is provided free of charge, with no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. If paid features are ever introduced, they will be clearly described and billed through the App Store at that time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer the App, circumvent security controls, transmit malware, disrupt the Service, use automated systems without permission, or use the Service unlawfully.
Intellectual property
The Cexi application, branding, UI, training systems, algorithms, and related intellectual property are owned by the finalized service operator or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, non-commercial use.
App Store terms
These terms apply when you obtain the App through the Apple App Store:
- This agreement is between you and the finalized Cexi service operator, not Apple. That operator, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to the App. Any warranty claims are Cexi's responsibility.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing product-liability, third-party intellectual-property, or consumer-protection claims relating to the App; these are handled under these Terms and applicable law.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government prohibited-party list.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Warranty disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that recommendations will produce any particular result.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cexi is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Fitness outcomes are your responsibility.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cexi and its licensors from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
Governing law & disputes
No governing law, exclusive venue, or formal dispute-resolution process is specified in this draft. Counsel must identify the contracting entity, select the applicable jurisdiction and governing law, and approve any notice, arbitration, forum, consumer-rights, and informal-resolution provisions before publication. Until then, contact legal@cexi.app and we will try to resolve questions informally.
Termination
You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms, harms others or the Service, or poses a security risk.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
